Paneldiskussionen är en del av Företagsekonomiska institutionens masterkurs i ledarskap men även öppen för andra intresserade. Paneldeltagarna är erfarna ledare och kommer att diskutera ledarskap och dess utmaningar ur olika perspektiv baserat på deras erfarenheter. Diskussionen kommer att hållas på engelska.
Presentation av paneldeltagarna:
With a PhD in physics from Uppsala University she was recruited to Disruptive Materials that works with drug delivery, dermatology & cosmetics among other areas. Her first position was in Research and Development, but she soon moved to a sales position, focused on cosmetics. Current leadership challenges relate to her responsibility for the company’s joint venture in China.
Is Senior Relationship Manager at Handelsbanken in Stockholm. After his bachelor degree at Uppsala University, in business economics, he started to work with PwC, HQ Bank, Carnegie before he got his first position at Handelsbanken seven years ago. Trained and experienced as an financial expert, and earlier appointed as Project Manager within the bank, he is now responsible for special client solutions.
Held a recent position as Business Development Manager at Novus Scientific “the innovator, developer and manufacturer of the world’s first long-term resorbable surgical mesh TIGR®Matrix", according to the company’s homepage. The two last years he has been the CEO and General Manager of the same company. With a bachelor in electro physics he developed his work experiences in companies like Pharmacia, Xaar plc, Radi Medical Systems before several positions in Novus Scientific. Early on, he continued his education by taking a M.B.A. in international business at Uppsala University.
Started his management career with bachelor degrees from Stockholm School of Economics, and the Royal Institute of Technology. He has more than 20 years of experience from managing positions ranging from co-founder of new firms to, turn-around management, to CEO of a listed telecommunication company, and externally recruited CEO in family-owned companies. He has maintained an ambition of developing his leadership with special concern related to motivation of employees, keeping the energy in team work, and challenges such as “when to ask a person to leave”?
