This time we will read and discuss a text on the theme of narrative and sustainability together with Emily Höckert's chapter "On scientific fabulation: storytelling in the more-than-human world".

Unlike many other articles on narrative and sustainability, Höckert's text contains an actual discussion of concrete stories, and asks basic questions such as: what makes a good story? Has this changed since we entered the Anthropocene era? Is it possible to imagine the lives of other beings through stories and what is the purpose of that?

We look forward to a discussion about how we as ethnologists can position ourselves in relation to research like this, what similarities and differences there are between our respective views, and what our contribution is and could be to such a scientific discussion.
